The Israel-Japan Friendship Association was established in 1956, four years after
Israel and Japan have established diplomatic ties. The founders were Mr. Moshe Bejerano, businessman and diplomat, Mr. K. Mosberg, and advocate Ram Salomon,
who wrote the Association's bylaws.
Along the years, concurrently with the expansion of the cultural ties between the
countries and the evolution of rich commercial contacts, the bylaw was adapted to
the new conditions and the Israel-Japan Friendship Association and Chamber of Commerce was established.
